On Saturday, August 16, the Cape Fear Cultural Association of India hosted India Day 2025 at the Harrelson Center in downtown Wilmington, a celebration of Indian culture, art, and heritage.
Supported by a Community Grant from The Endowment, India Day featured cultural performances, traditional food, music, and activities that invited the community to immerse themselves in the richness of Indian traditions. The event welcomed neighbors of all ages from across Wilmington and the Cape Fear region, creating a day filled with celebration and connection.
Dr. David Stegall, Director of Education at The Endowment, was proud to speak at the event, sharing in the joy of the celebration and underscoring the importance of cultural exchange in strengthening community bonds.
India Day 2025 was more than a cultural festival, it was a joyful reminder of how food, art, music, and shared experiences can unite us, honor diversity, and celebrate the traditions that make our New Hanover County a vibrant place to live.
