The Endowment’s mission is to improve the health, education, safety, and economic opportunity of every person in our community.
The Endowment was established to create a meaningful, lasting impact on our community. Our goal is to advance meaningful change through four pillars that directly influence the well-being and future of New Hanover County residents: Social & Health Equity, Education, Community Safety, Community Development.
By aligning with New Hanover County’s Strategic Plan and The Endowment’s 2025–2030 Strategic Plan, our work is focused on improving outcomes for all residents of New Hanover County. The Endowment advances this mission by investing in solutions across four pillars.
