Community Grant 2026: $5,000: To support the Backpacks of Dignity Project in partnership with local public schools to ensure students from under-resources families begin the school year with the essential school supplies and hygiene items they need to succeed.
The Backpacks of Dignity Project directly addresses the grant’s focus on supporting underserved children/youth by removing barriers to education. By providing tangible support, we create greater equity in the classroom and help foster a positive learning environment.
Future Vision:
With grant funding, we aim to increase the number of backpacks distributed and include additional items such as water bottles, lunch boxes, and hygiene kits—ensuring that every child in need feels seen, valued, and equipped for a successful school year.
