The Carolina Beach Mural Project plans to install a mural representing the Tree of Life to include the island’s indigenous birds on the outside of the Katie B Hine’s Center, located at 308 Cape Fear Blvd., Carolina Beach. This mural project will also give 2 aspiring young Artists from underserved Wilmington the opportunity to hone their Mural craft with a paid internship, working with a seasoned Artist, Teacher, and Businesswoman, Susan Nuttall.
The Carolina Beach Mural Project has earned a distinguished reputation in the Mural Art world for its exceptional Public Art and unwavering commitment to celebrating the culture and history of Carolina Beach. This dynamic organization is celebrated for its inclusivity, featuring Artists from diverse backgrounds, including members of the LGBQT, Latin, and Asian communities.
