Through a recent grant to the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits, The Endowment is strengthening the capacity of New Hanover County nonprofits by making membership to the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits accessible to a broader number of organizations.
In addition to membership dues, eligible organizations will receive up to a $400 stipend to participate in one of the following professional development opportunities, including the 2025 Annual Conference (November 19–20, 2025) or the Nonprofit Management Institute (Spring 2026).
Membership provides many valuable benefits to support your organizational development, capacity building, leadership, and learning.
This opportunity is limited and will be awarded on a first-come basis to ELIGIBLE nonprofits. All organizations will be screened for eligibility.
Nonprofit organizations must meet the following ELIGIBILITY criteria:
1. 501c3 in operation for 2 or more years
2. Have a mission and demonstrable work that fits within at least one of NHCE’s Pillars – Social & Health Equity, Education, Community Development, Community Safety
3. Annual expenses < $750K
4. New to NCCNP membership (not currently a member or a member in last 2 years)
5. Must register in The Endowment’s grants management system – Fluxx
