Please join us for an exclusive Welcome Reception the evening before the 2025 North Carolina Philanthropy Conference!
This special event will be held on Thursday, September 4 from 5:30pm 7:30pm at the magnificent Brooklyn Arts Center in Wilmington, NC.
Prepare to be captivated by the venue itself! The Brooklyn Arts Center is an 1888 historic landmark church, thoughtfully and beautifully refurbished into Wilmington’s most stunning event space. With 60-foot cathedral ceilings draped in white fabric, you’ll be surrounded by two-story arched windows, original brick and plaster walls, and 130-year-old stained glass displayed like fine art. The 35-foot North Carolina-pine altar adds unmatched drama and charm.
This reception is the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow fundraising professionals in a truly breathtaking setting before the conference officially begins. Enjoy an evening of networking and engaging conversations with peers who share your passion for advancing philanthropy.
In addition to connecting with your peers, you’ll have the unique opportunity to learn about incredible local non-profits that empower and showcase talented young artists. Their inspiring work fosters creativity and provides vital platforms for children to express themselves through art. Adding to the evening’s charm, we’ll feature live music from Wilmington’s own celebrity, Sai Collins, whose soulful acoustic sounds are sure to create a captivating and memorable atmosphere. You’ll also enjoy delicious hors d’oeuvres by Castle Street Kitchen, with a complimentary drink upon arrival and a cash bar available for additional beverages.
We look forward to welcoming you to Wilmington!
