Celebrating The Endowment’s 40 Under 40 Honorees

Celebrating Leadership, Service, and Community Impact

The Endowment is thrilled to celebrate several members of our extended team who have been named to the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2025! Please join us in congratulating Justin Burgess, Endowment Board Member; Andy Hewitt and Mireya Lupercio, Community Advisory Council Members; and Eileen O’Malley, Director of Technology.

Each of these leaders exemplifies The Endowment’s values of integrity, courage, and collaboration, bringing vision, expertise, and compassion to everything they do. Their commitment to service and leadership helps strengthen the fabric of our region, making a difference far beyond their daily roles.

The Wilmington Chamber’s 40 Under 40 Awards shine a light on young professionals who are shaping the future of the Cape Fear region. Each year, the program honors those who are driving innovation, leading with purpose, and investing their time and talents to make our community stronger. The 2025 class includes entrepreneurs, educators, health care professionals, and nonprofit champions, all working together to make Wilmington an even better place to live, work, and thrive.

At The Endowment, we believe that recognizing and uplifting emerging leaders is one of the most hopeful investments we can make. These young professionals remind us that our community’s future is bright!

We are proud of all this year’s nominees, they represent the very best of New Hanover County: passionate, forward-thinking individuals building a stronger tomorrow for us all.

A special thank-you to Page Productions for beautifully capturing the spirit of this celebration!
