Justin Burgess is a Certified Financial Planner™ with Copley Investment Management, where he helps individuals and employer-sponsored plan participants achieve long-term financial goals through personalized investment and retirement strategies. He joined Copley in 2015 after four years in banking, where he began his training as a financial advisor.

A graduate of the University of North Carolina Wilmington, Justin earned a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and Business Development. He also completed an international business course at the Euromed School of Management and Business in Marseille, France. He holds both FINRA Series 66 and Series 7 certifications and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

Deeply involved in his community, Justin serves on the Finance Committee at St. John’s Episcopal Church and the Grants Committee for the New Hanover County Community Foundation, where he is a past President. He was also appointed by the Governor to the N.C. State Board of CPA Examiners and serves as Treasurer for the UNCW Sigma Alpha Epsilon Alumni Association.

Originally from Henderson, NC, Justin and his wife, Mehegan, live in Wilmington with their two daughters. He enjoys coaching youth sports, boating, and spending time with family.
