Carolyn Beatty, a Wilmington native, has been a dedicated servant leader for over 35 years. She currently serves as the Community Engagement Director for StepUp Wilmington, where she works to foster relationships with community, volunteers, churches, organizations, and businesses in alignment with the organization’s mission: “I am A Valuable Person Of Great Worth.”
Before joining StepUp Wilmington, Carolyn spent 37 years with Compass Group USA, including 25 years in leadership roles. As a District Manager, she oversaw a $12 million portfolio spanning 22 food service establishments across the region. Known for her “people first” philosophy, Carolyn excels in building strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners.
In her current role, Carolyn continues to exemplify her passion for community engagement by creating meaningful connections that drive positive impact. She is deeply committed to uplifting others and contributing to the growth and success of the Wilmington community.
In her free time, Carolyn cherishes moments spent with family and friends. An avid music enthusiast and lover of culinary arts, she enjoys exploring her creative side and finding inspiration in her surroundings. Her dedication to service and her vibrant personality make Carolyn a valued leader and an integral part of the StepUp Wilmington team.
