A Morning of Learning and Connection

On Wednesday, October 22, more than 100 nonprofit leaders from across New Hanover County came together for a special event hosted by The Endowment and presented by Bank of America: Decoding How and Why Affluent Americans Give: The 2025 Bank of America Study of Philanthropy.

The morning kicked off with coffee from Vigilant Hope, breakfast, and networking, giving attendees a chance to connect and strengthen the relationships that make our local nonprofit community so vibrant.

Dianne Chipps Bailey, Managing Director and National Philanthropic Strategy Executive, gave an engaging and timely presentation on charitable giving patterns, trends, and motivations across the country. Her insights sparked questions and conversation and offered practical guidance for fundraising professionals looking to deepen donor engagement and impact.

We’re grateful to Dianne for sharing her expertise and to all the Executive Directors, Development Leaders, Board Members, and fundraising professionals who joined us for this inspiring morning of learning and community.
