2022 Grant Recipient ($122,125): This grant will support the Leadership for Inclusive Community program.
2023 Grant Recipient ($200,000): The grant will allow the YWCA to replace the equipment needed to convert their outdoor pool into an indoor facility, so they are able to continue operating for public use, teaching 2nd graders how to swim, and serving as the home for the New Hanover County School’s Swim Team.
2023 Grant Recipient ($2,804,811): This grant supports families through affordable childcare, wraparound services, and the Parents As Teachers model while expanding access to high-quality early childhood education and support services.
2025 Grant Recipient ($564,800): To support kinship care by assisting grandparents serving as foster caregivers, enhance aquatics programs for children and under-resourced groups, and expand childcare capacity through strategic capital improvements.
