2023 Grant Recipient ($100,000): This grant funding will allow Legal Aid’s Wilmington office to fund Second Chance Wilmington, a criminal record expungement program and to expand to into driver’s license restoration and supporting services navigation.
2025 Grant Recipient ($1,100,000): To consolidate and strengthen services by co-locating staff at the Harrelson Center and continuing the Second Chance Program to reduce recidivism and improve employment outcomes.
2025 Capacity Grant Recipient ($4,528): To fund the participation of the newly appointed Southeast Regional Manager in Harvard Business School’s High Potentials Leadership Program.
2025 Community Grant Recipient ($5,000): To support program focused on expungement and restoration of driver’s license privileges for low-income residents.
2026 Grant Recipient ($462,814): To support civil legal services for families in need, including protective orders, housing assistance, and expungement.
