2022 Grant Recipient ($250,000): The mission of Eden Village of Wilmington is to build relationships and communities for our homeless friends. This grant will support construction of tiny homes of affordable housing.
2023 Grant Recipient ($55,000): This grant funding will allow Eden Village to procure and operate a generator for residents with limited income to provide greater economic stability. The generator provides greater food security for the residents.
2024 Grant Recipient ($300,000): EVOW offers a low-cost community option for housing the chronically homeless while saving New Hanover County thousands of dollars annually. Each subsidized home is leased monthly for $300 per month which includes utilities. Opportunities to earn community credit allows a dignified way for residents to support themselves. EVOW plans to expand by building Eden Village 2 as future funding allows.
