2022 Grant Recipient ($69,100): This grant will support the purchase of equipment, the purchase and upfit of a container unit, capital improvements to the parking lot, and operational expenses.
2023 Grant Recipient ($46,000): This grant funding will allow Cape Fear Literacy Council to hire a consultant to facilitate organizational design and change management. It will also support the pilot of a professional development workshop series.
2025 Capacity Grant Recipient ($3,690): To support professional development for staff through leadership training, nonprofit conferences, and technology certification to strengthen organizational capacity and improve services.
2025 Grant Recipient ($370,000): To expand free one-on-one tutoring and small-group instruction in Adult Literacy, English as a Second Language, and Digital Literacy.
2025 Community Grant Recipient ($4,447): To support a Bonner Fellow who expands health literacy programming and bilingual outreach, as well as digital literacy resources, including new computers and software, to increase access to technology training for adult learners.
