2022 Grant Recipient ($15,000): To provide nutritious food to vulnerable low-income seniors in the Wilmington area who are hungry. This grant will support improvements in the quality / quantity of food provided and operational expenses.
2025 Grant Recipient ($100,000): Funding to assist with ongoing operational expenses and supplies to allow us to continue providing food to food insecure seniors. The capital funds will be used to purchase a van to use for deliveries to assist with senior transportation issues. This funding will allow us to continue operation, reach more seniors and supply them with more food and essential non-food items.
2025 Community Recipient ($4,300): To offset current food price increases and keep supplying at current levels.
