2022 Grant Recipient ($16,000): Alliance for Cape Fear Trees’ mission is to preserve, protect and plant trees to enhance the quality of life and health for present and future generations in the Lower Cape Fear area. This will support beautification work and expanding green space in Northside, Southside, the Bottom, Sunset Park, and Wilmington Housing Authority communities.
2025 Capacity Grant Recipient ($4,271): To support operational tools and services such as QuickBooks, NeonCRM, Year-end tax preparation and professional memberships.
2025 Community Grant Recipient ($4,528): To support the distribution of up to 250 trees to increase canopy coverage in underserved neighborhoods.
2026 Community Grant Recipient ($15,000): To plant 130 native or regionally adapted trees in Wilmington’s Southside and Bottom neighborhoods – historically underserved areas and areas of low tree canopy.
