Previously, as Director of Client Strategy at Walgreens, Shannon spearheaded partnerships with health systems and employers, advancing national pharmacy and healthcare initiatives. Her career began in finance as Senior Vice President at Bank of America, where she honed her expertise in investments and strategic planning, laying the groundwork for her exceptional leadership.
A Wilmington, NC native, Shannon is deeply rooted in her community. In 2025, she assumed the role of Board Chair for The Endowment, following her tenure as Vice Chair. Her influence extends to the Willie Stargell Foundation, UNC-Chapel Hill’s Economics Advisory Board, and Northside School of Christian Leadership, where she serves as PTF Treasurer.
