Mary Lyons Rouse has called the Wilmington area home for over 13 years, dedicating her career and community involvement to making a meaningful impact. For more than 11 years, she has served as Associate Director of Advancement at Cape Fear Academy, where she plays an integral role in organizing and implementing school-wide events and fostering a culture of philanthropy. Mary Lyons manages the Family Partnership Steering Committee, collaborates with the business office to oversee the Family Partnership budget, and develops opportunities for parent and volunteer engagement to strengthen the school community.

Her commitment to education extends beyond her professional role. Mary Lyons served on the Cape Fear Community College Board from 2014 to 2022, where her leadership as Vice Chair contributed to the institution’s growth and success.

A dedicated community member, Mary Lyons is actively involved with St. James Episcopal Church, serving on the Vestry Committee and volunteering extensively. Her leadership and service reflect her deep commitment to supporting organizations that foster education, community engagement, and spiritual growth.
