As Network Officer for Social and Health Equity at The Endowment, Leigh plays a key role in advancing health outcomes and social equity across New Hanover County. She develops partnerships, manages grants, and supports data-informed strategies that drive systemic change in public health, access to care, and overall well-being. Working collaboratively with community organizations and internal teams, Leigh helps ensure The Endowment’s investments lead to lasting, equitable impact.
Leigh brings deep experience in health equity and community engagement to her role. Before joining The Endowment, she served as an Impact Strategist at the Health Forward Foundation in Kansas City, Missouri, where she helped partners build capacity for whole-person, equity-centered care. Her background also includes working with the Missouri Area Health Education Centers, Columbia University Irving Medical Center, Mount Sinai Medical Center, and the University of Kansas Medical Center.
A graduate of Mount Holyoke College with a degree in Neuroscience and Behavior, Leigh earned her Master’s degree in Public Health from Columbia’s Mailman School of Public Health.
