Having lived, worked, and raised a family in Wilmington for more than two decades, Dr. Rob Morgan has dedicated his career to supporting the success of local students, families, and schools. As Assistant Superintendent of Operations for New Hanover County Schools, he brings extensive educational leadership experience and a deep understanding of the community he serves.
Defined by his commitment to educational excellence and strategic planning, Dr. Rob Morgan has worked as an educational leader in the county since 2006, including as principal of New Hanover High School before assuming district-level leadership responsibilities. In addition to his primary career in public education, he has also worked locally as a residential real estate broker. Known for his diplomacy, strong management style, and strategic foresight, Dr. Morgan excels at aligning organizational goals with immediate community needs.
His passion for service extends directly into the local non-profit sector. Dr. Morgan currently serves on the Board of Directors for Nourish NC and previously dedicated his time to supporting The Full Belly Project.
