Cedric Dickerson is a dedicated insurance professional and community leader with over 40 years of service in Wilmington, North Carolina. As an agent with State Farm, Cedric provides comprehensive insurance solutions to his clients while also serving as Vice President of the State Farm Agents and Employees Political Action Committee, where he advocates for policies that benefit the insurance industry and its stakeholders.
Cedric has held leadership roles that have significantly impacted his community. He is the former Chair and current Member of the New Hanover County ABC Board and an advisory board member for the Boy Scouts of America. His past leadership includes serving as Board Chair for the Community Boys & Girls Club and as a board member for the Cape Fear Community College Foundation, (WHAT) Wilmington Health Access for Teens, Cape Fear Literacy Council, and the Salvation Army.
Recognized for his dedication, Cedric received the UNCW Watson College of Education Razor Walker Award in 2009 and was inducted into the Laney Athletic Hall of Fame in 2018 for his community contributions and work as a volunteer coach. He most recently served on the Partnership Advisory Group, demonstrating his commitment to local development.
